Choosing Your First MTB: A Buyer's Checklist

"Hardtail or Full-sus? 29er or 27.5? We help you navigate the complex world of mountain bike specs to find your perfect match."

Buying a mountain bike is an investment in adventure. Here's how to choose the right horse for your course.

Hardtail vs. Full Suspension

Hardtails are lighter, cheaper, and better for learning technical skills. Full suspension offers more comfort and control on rough, high-speed descents but requires more maintenance.

Wheel Size: 29" vs 27.5"

29ers roll over obstacles more easily and hold their momentum. 27.5" wheels are more agile and playful. Most modern trail bikes have moved towards 29ers for their efficiency.
