Riding in a pack is faster and more social, but it requires trust and communication.
Be Predictable
No sudden braking or swerving. If you need to stop, signal clearly and move to the side of the road before slowing down.
Hold Your Line
In a corner, don't "cut" the apex if there are riders inside you. Keep a steady distance from the wheel in front of you—about 12 inches is standard for experienced groups.
